Marcel G. Latouche FCCA, MBA

Marcel is the President & CEO of MLG Associates, Management Consultants
& Trainers. He is a Fellow of The Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants (UK) and received an MBA in International
Business from the Manchester Business School. He has over 40 years
experience as a financial manager in both the private and public
sectors. He is a former sessional lecturer at Mount Royal University, SAIT
Polytechnic and Columbia College. An author, lecturer and consultant,
he has worked in Europe, Asia and Africa delivering seminars and
training executives in strategic planning.

Over the years Marcel has served on the boards and committees of many
organizations including, Tennis Alberta, Tennis Canada, the Calgary
Chamber of Commerce,The Canadian Association of Professional
Speakers, The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and
SAIT's BA Management Advisory Committee. An inductee in the Alberta

Gerald D. Chipeur, LL.B.

     Gerald D. Chipeur, LL.B. LL.M.

Mr. Chipeur represents clients as general and project counsel. Since obtaining
his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1984 and Master of Laws degree in 1990 from
the University of Alberta, Chipeur has appeared in the Supreme Court of
Canada, the Federal and Alberta Courts of Appeal, federal and provincial
trial courts and numerous administrative tribunals to litigate questions of
administrative, health, education, electoral and constitutional law. Most
recently he acted as counsel in the landmark British Columbia College of
Teachers v. Trinity Western University in which the Supreme Court of Canada
accepted his arguments and those of others in favour of freedom of religion.

Chipeur has considerable experience in the areas of health, government
advocacy, legislative drafting, elections and parliamentary practice,
constitutional law, intervener & amicus curiae, environmental law, human
rights, privacy and information, professional ethics, education and charities.

Kristen was formerly an account director with Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada, Kristen Lawson draws upon more than a decade’s experience in government relations and political consulting. Kristen is also Deputy Group leader for Alberta, coordinating H+K Strategies’ broader Alberta public affairs activities.

Jonathan Denis, Q.C.
     Jonathan Denis

Born in Regina, Saskatchewan was called to the Alberta bar as a lawyer in 2001 and was a key member of one of Canada’s national law firms.

Jonathan was elected MLA for Calgary-Egmont (later Calgary-Acadia) in 2008 and re-elected in 2012. In addition to his duties as a legislator, Jonathan has served in several senior cabinet roles, including Parliamentary Assistant for Energy, Minister of Housing, Solicitor General, Minister of Public Security, Provincial Secretary, Minister of Justice, Attorney General, and Government House Leader.

Since returning to the private sector, Jonathan has founded Denis Law & CONTACT Public Affairs, a legal and government relations firm based in Calgary. Jonathan’s practice focuses primarily on corporate and commercial law and public affairs consulting. Jonathan is also a member of the Board of Directors of Liberty West Properties Inc. and Senergy Petroleum Exploration Ltd.

Jonathan is frequently invited as a guest speaker to organizations and charities in Alberta.
